Honestly one of the best Resident Evil titles i have experienced to date! Not just for the story but it caters to both horror and action players which was really nice Certainly wasn't stingy on the scary moments, kept me on edge the whole time! Good job Capcom on this amazing game, loved it so much! <3
8/10 - Capcom rightfully insists on not reinventing the bicycle which is good. In fact all small changes that they make are quite on point. Balance of gameplay of Leon and Grace is well done. However towards the endgame i started getting frequent crashes. And mod that i installed to fix that was only a partial solution but it was enough to finish the game. Still not something you want to see.
Excellent in every aspect, graphics (impressive with path tracing on), characters details, animations, sound effects and very well optimized. I didn't encounter any annoying bugs or crushes during my 3 playthroughs. Continues the storyline of Resident Evil years after the Racoon City incident. Capcom did it again 10/10. I will definitely vote RE9 for game of the year. A must have for the RE fans and a great game for the newcomers.
Loved the blend of horror and action here, it really nails both sides without either feeling weak. Gameplay is tight and satisfying, and the story kept me hooked, especially when you end up revisiting an old place from the series' past. My only real issue is with Grace's sections, the FOV is locked and can't be changed. I ended up having to use mods just to avoid getting motion sickness. I also had a weird audio desync bug at the beginning but It fixed itself somehow. Great game, nonetheless.
Got to credits earlier this evening. Amazing game, enjoyed it way more than I expected. Wonderful mix of survival horror and action fun, balanced and paced with tons of care. Can't wait to start challenge hunting and to start exploring the bonus modes
