The first game gave me hope after all the horror. This one took that hope and shattered it into a thousand pieces of despair and grief. 😭💔 Amicia's and Hugo’s bond remains the heartbreaking core of the game, the atmosphere is beautiful, the gameplay is really fun, and the rat swarms hit harder than ever. But it’s that damn ending that destroys you, just raw, lingering pain. Masterful storytelling. 10/10 Must Play
I wish for the plot to be more enriched in background characters history and to be more known about macula, but overall it was very positive experience. The game is a decent sequel, not better than a first part in terms of a plot but has some advantages in gameplay and also graphics are much better looking. For the achievement part I wish for the skills to be possible to acquire them in one run and knives to be found in the same chapters as chests.
You fight. You fail. You persist. Hope comes and vanishes, again and again. In the end, everything dissolves into nothingness in cruel silence. Bonne nuit.
Oh man, if you thought the first game was emotionally heavy, this one hits you even harder... The gameplay is quite similar to the first game, with a few new mechanics but nothing crazy. Story-wise, it's emotionally intense, heartbreaking, unforgettable, and absolutely worth playing. I don't know if I'll ever replay it, though. I loved it, but I'm not sure I could go through that heartbreaking story again.
if u play the old game this a must if u didnt but like narrative game play the old one first then this one is a must one of the best narrative game ever.
Requiem gets all the good stuff from Innocence and improves it. The gameplay has more options for combat/stealth with the environment being large enough to give you more possibilities of facing/avoiding encounters. I really liked the stealth with the forced babysitting. The voice acting in this game is top-notch. A masterpiece that closes the story of Amicia and Hugo in a very satisfying way.
