First Silent Hill for me. I kept asking myself, what the hell is going on? as the game progressed. Then you start your first NG+, then another, then a third, and even a fourth run, and you gradually begin to understand all the stories the game has to tell and what is hell is actually going on. On a negative note, I got several crashes, and the FPS drops can be pretty severe in certain areas. But overall, it's a great game! PS : (100% is cool)
Performance issues aside, having played the og team silent games, this game pretty good, the japan setting is really cool and gives it new air. I like the direction they are going with this. Silent hill needs something like this to keep it alive. This is like Resident Evil 7 but for Silent Hill
Delayed playing this for a long time as I didn't think I would like it but I honestly loved the game. My main gripes were like everyone says the end has so many forced encounters it's insane. Story was very intriguing from the start and the end was incredible. Left me eager to do my no red capsule playthrough. Great game.
Amazing lore, great story telling but do NOT play this if your computer (any device) CANNOT handle Unreal Engine 5.
I personally liked the game, so I'm recommending it, but I understand those who don't. I'm not a big fan of the chosen combat system, even as someone who plays Souls-likes, and I also found some puzzles quite confusing and not very clear on the hardest difficulty.
a very good horror game tho not realy silent hill it does not give me silent hill vabes at all exept the fog it veels more like siren blood curse. but besides that its realy good one of the best horror games of 2025 for sure
